Oliver Hall

Costume Designer

Based in Melbourne – on the lands of the Bunurong, Wurundjeri and Wadawurrung people of the Kulin Nation – Oliver Hall is a versatile Artist and experienced Designer, Theatre Maker and Costumier. 


A lover of the absurd, the fantastical and the beautiful, his extensive portfolio is underpinned by his background in Costume for Performance and encompasses productions across Drama, Opera, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Film and Television.


Awarded a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the National Institute of Dramatic Art, Oliver is currently advancing his skills through the pursuit of a Master of Design and Production at the Victorian College of the Arts. 


Oliver’s other Design Credits include: ANTE/MEDEA (2023, dir. Laura Charlton and Sabina Donato), THE BANK (2024, dir. Daniela Farinacci) and PULP (2024, dir. Sarah Hegge-Taylor). 


His upcoming works include: A Number (2024, dir. Julian Colman) and Hänsel und Gretel (2024, dir. Jane Davidson).
