Keegan Bragg

Director

Keegan Bragg (he / him) is a Melbourne-based director with a Masters of Theatre (Directing) from the Victorian College of the Arts. In 2023 he worked with Melbourne Theatre Company through the MinterEllison Future Director's Initiative as Assistant Director on Happy Days, and worked as a director Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre through their Graduate Program, Assistant Directing Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?. His passion for theatre began growing up in Ōtautahi (Christchurch), New Zealand, and developed through making independent theatre in Pōneke (Wellington), with a focus on text-based and ensemble performance. In 2019 he directed Shadow, co-devised with Liam Whitney, which was performed with C Venues at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He also served as Artistic Director of Long Cloud Youth Theatre, based in Pōneke. Recent Melbourne work includes Laundry Shoot! (Theatreworks 2024). He is of Māori / Pakeha descent.
